Be the Source of Joy

At one time or another in our life, we have experienced the joy of another person’s kindness to us or to someone we know or care about. Maybe it was an encouraging word from a friend or a complete stranger.

Be the Helping Hand

A street child is always looking for a kind person who will extend a loving, helping hand to lift him or her up. So many times in my missionary work have I met street girls and boys whom are genuinely kind, receptive, and grateful for what is given to them.

Be the Love and Encouragement

Some of children have gone through very difficult life situations that people never faced even in adulthood. Some of them need only a little bit of help and they quickly return to normal childhood activities and focus on their future.

Help Change a Life

Just giving one hour’s pay per week to support a street child would put that child on a path that will forever change the course of his or her life. The joy of knowing you have saved a life can never be measured by any human terms. At Support The Poor, we believe in the words of Jesus when he said:

I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, –I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.  (Matthew 25:31-46)
